About the Millthorpe Markets

The Millthorpe Markets are held twice a year on the first Sunday in April and the first Sunday in December annually. The markets, which have been running since 2005, are hosted by the Millthorpe Public School P&C Committee, with all funds raised assisting to purchase ongoing educational tools for the School.

The markets are well established and have been called "the best in the region" by both the stall holders and the thousands of markets goers who attend each year. Stall holders come from far & wide to sell their produce in the beautiful surrounds of Redmond Oval. Everything from clothing, jewellery, toys, arts & crafts, woodwork, second hand goods, gourmet & fresh produce, cake stalls, plants and christmas decorations are available.

Students & staff from Millthorpe Public School are also on hand running their own stalls, the chocolate wheel and sausage sizzle. There are also coffee vendors & other food outlets located around the oval with a wide variety of food on offer.

There is also plenty to keep the children amused with a jumping castle, rides, face painting & other activities, including the infamous Redmond Oval Play Equipment! Entry to the markets is by gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the Millthorpe Public School P&C. A designated parking paddock is also available, manned by local community organisations.
