The Millthorpe Markets are held twice a year on the first Sunday in April and the first Sunday in December annually. The markets, which have been running since 2005, are hosted by the Millthorpe Public School P&C Committee, with all funds raised assisting the school to provide for the ongoing educational needs of our children.
The markets are well established and have been called "the best in the region" by both stallholders and the thousands of markets-goers who attend each year. Stallholders come from far & wide to sell their produce in the beautiful surrounds of Redmond Oval. Everything from clothing, jewellery, toys, arts & crafts, woodwork, gourmet & fresh produce, cake stalls, plants and christmas decorations are available.
Students & staff from Millthorpe Public School are also on hand running their own cake stall, drink stall & BBQ. There are also coffee vendors & other food outlets located around the oval with a wide variety of food on offer.
There is also plenty to keep the children amused with a jumping castle, rides, face painting & other activities, including the famous Redmond Oval Play Equipment! The markets site is also within easy walking distance of the historic town centre of Millthorpe with its wide range of historic buildings, restaurants and boutique stores.
Entry to the markets is by gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the Millthorpe Public School P&C.
A designated parking paddock is available opposite the markets site, manned by local community organisations.
In order to be eligible for the Millthorpe Markets, potential stall holders must follow the Application Procedure.
